As President Obama heads into his second term in office, his administration is likely to feature some new faces atop the regulatory agencies that oversee Wall Street.

Timothy F. Geithner, the Treasury secretary, is expected to leave Washington by the end of the year and Ben S. Bernanke, the Federal Reserve chairman, has told friends that he is not likely to stand for re-election. Andrew Ross Sorkin provided a field guide to handicapping their replacements.
